Megan Klabunde is the Treatment Research Manager at the UCSD Eating Disorder Program. She is currently an advanced doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at CSPP. At the eating disorder program, she is responsible for the management of the studies that examine medication and therapy treatment of Anorexia Nervosa.

Megan received a B.A. in Psychology, Philosophy and Theology at PLNU and a M.A. from CSPP. Megan’s education in Philosophy and Theology lead her to an interest in mind/body integration and resulting in an interest in the biological aspects of eating disorders, specifically the autonomic nervous system and neural correlates involved in physiological and emotional processing.

Megan is a BCIA-C certified biofeedback therapist and has experience using physiological monitoring equipment to treat stress related disorders. Megan has been working in the eating disorder field for four years. Previous clinical experiences includes working at an eating disorder residential center and Megan worked with those with acute severe psychopathology at a local San Diego Crisis House for her pre-doctoral practicum.
