Sarrah is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University and began her predoctoral internship at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research in 2026. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from UC San Diego in 2016 and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University in 2023. She is especially excited to return to UC San Diego where she first developed an interest in eating disorders as an undergraduate student. Sarrah’s research focuses on better understanding psychosocial factors that contribute to the development and maintenance of eating pathology, with a particular interest in the role of ethnoracial group membership. Her work aims to identify overlooked differences in eating pathology across ethnoracial groups and better understand factors that may contribute to these differences. Outside of work, Sarrah enjoys exploring San Diego, spending time with her dog, Chester, and going to concerts.
