Alexis Arreola

Alexis Arreola is a doctoral practicum student in the Pediatric Clinic at the University of California San Diego Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research and a PsyD student in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2023.

From July 2022 to June 2023, Alexis worked at Beyond Blindness, a nonprofit serving children with visual impairments and developmental disabilities, where she provided play-based and family systems interventions focused on adaptive coping, relational health, and caregiver empowerment. From May 2024 to March 2025, Alexis worked at San Diego BrainWorks, conducting comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations for individuals with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disorders, trauma histories, and behavioral challenges. She then trained at Rady Children’s Hospital–Medical Behavioral Unit, where her clinical experience included Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Outside of her clinical work, Alexis enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to Disneyland, scuba diving, and being outdoors with her pets.
