Admissions, Insurance & Housing

Admissions

Every individual or family begins by talking with an experienced Admissions Clinician to explore symptoms, treatment needs, and available care options. Before admission is planned, our Admissions and Insurance Teams work together to verify benefits and clarify any potential out-of-pocket costs.

If our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is appropriate and insurance coverage aligns, our team will schedule a virtual assessment. This comprehensive evaluation helps us better understand the eating disorder and any co-occurring mental health concerns, forming the foundation for an individualized treatment plan.

Following the assessment, your Admissions Clinician will review diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations, and, if needed, alternative referrals—considering factors such as insurance, symptom acuity, location, and readiness for care.

Our Admissions Clinicians are senior, master's-level professionals with deep expertise in eating disorders. They understand the courage it takes to seek help and offer compassionate support throughout the process. Whether navigating academic, work, family, housing, or financial concerns, they meet each individual where they are—recognizing that ambivalence is a normal part of seeking treatment.

Contact us today to speak with an Admissions Clinician to see if our program is the right fit for you.

Insurance

We are currently contracted with the following insurance companies.

Aetna Cigna Magellan
Anthem Blue Cross HealthNet United Healthcare/Optum
Blue Shield of California Kaiser California Sharp Health Plan

If your insurance plan is not listed, please contact our Admissions Team for a benefits check. We may still be able to work with your provider. Most patients use insurance to cover treatment and self-pay options are also available upon request.

Supportive Housing

We provide discounted hotel rates for out-of-town patients and families as well as a nearby apartment, for adult patients. These housing options support those relocating for treatment and needing accommodations during their care.
