Dr. Ashlye Borden jointed the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research as a Clinical Postdoctoral Fellow in the Adult Program in 2026. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Psychology from Lesley University and her PhD in Counseling Psychology from University at Buffalo.
Dr. Borden completed her predoctoral internship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she trained in child/adolescent and young adult eating disorder partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), as well as the child/adolescent inpatient psychiatry consultation-liaison service. She also has experience providing care to individuals with eating disorders across the lifespan in a residential treatment setting.
In addition to her work in eating disorders, Dr. Borden’s clinical training includes work with patients with chronic illness and complex medical conditions, neuropsychological assessment, and inpatient consultation-liaison services. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her cat, and listening to Taylor Swift.
