Britt Bohrer

Dr. Britt Bohrer is a clinical psychologist and Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) Track Co-Coordinator in the Adult Program at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorder Center for Treatment and Research. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas, specializing in eating disorder assessment and diagnosis. Britt completed both her pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorder Center. She has training and experience providing treatment for eating, mood, anxiety, personality, and substance use disorders across varying levels of care. Dr. Bohrer has received specialty training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (DBT-SUD) and as a COD Track Co-Coordinator, she coordinates a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to patients with co-occurring substance use and eating disorders. Dr. Bohrer’s research interests include the evaluation of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders and related psychopathology. Outside of work, Britt’s time is spent with her puppy and all things classic rock.
