Emily “Whipp” Whipple has been a milieu therapist in the Adolescent Program at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research since 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She brings valuable experience from working with eating disorder patients across residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. At UCSD, she supports adolescent patients through mealtimes and group therapy, while actively collaborating with the clinical team to manage the therapeutic environment and coordinate comprehensive care throughout each patient’s treatment.
