Kendal Reeder

Kendal Reeder (she/her) is a predoctoral clinical psychology intern at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center and a doctoral candidate at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her graduate training, Kendal worked as a clinician at the UCLA Psychology Clinic and at the Providence Saint John’s Child and Family Development Center in Santa Monica, CA. In these settings, she provided care to diverse youth, families, and young adults using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). In addition to providing clinical care, Kendal conducts research on clinical decision-making strategies that can promote the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for youth and families. Outside of work, Kendal enjoys hiking and camping, browsing farmer’s markets, and spending quality time with her spouse and two cats.
