I am a Marital and Family Therapy trainee in the Pediatrics Program at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research. I was born and raised in San Diego, and am thrilled to be back in my hometown while pursuing my Master's in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego. I earned my BA in Psychology with minors in Human Development and Education from the University of California, Davis, in 2024. While at UC Davis, I was a peer mentor for Redwood Seed Scholars supporting young adults with intellectual disabilities as they navigate schooling, vocation, and independent living. This experience deepened my interest in working with individuals with disabilities, with a strong emphasis on supporting and collaborating with their family and caregivers. Additionally during my time as an undergraduate, I worked as a preschool teacher for 3 years, as well as volunteer experience in elementary schools, where my love of children and passion for guiding their psychosocial development were ignited. In my clinical work, I am dedicated to fostering a warm, welcoming, and open-minded space where clients and their families feel heard and supported. In my free time, I love going to the beach, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and seeing live music any chance I get!
