Sadie Dunphy

Hi! My name is Sadie, and I’ve lived in Carlsbad, California, my whole life. As a former college soccer player, I developed a passion for helping student-athletes build a healthy relationship with food and support their recovery through proper fueling. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, especially my niece and nephew, and reading.

Marley Dougan

Marley Dougan is a Marital and Family Therapist Trainee in the Adolescent Program at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research. She joined UC San Diego in 2026, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Marley earned her B.A. in Psychology and Child Studies from Santa Clara University in 2025.

Carly Fall

I am a Marital and Family Therapy trainee in the Pediatrics Program at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research. I was born and raised in San Diego, and am thrilled to be back in my hometown while pursuing my Master's in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego. I earned my BA in Psychology with minors in Human Development and Education from the University of California, Davis, in 2024.

Elizabeth Murphy

Elizabeth joined the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research in October 2024 as a milieu therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University. Elizabeth has experience working for the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) and other outpatient settings. She works in our pediatric program to support the patients and their families on a day-to-day basis. In addition, Elizabeth provides assistance to the clinical staff with coordination of care throughout the patient’s treatment stay in the pediatric program.

Emily Whipple

Emily “Whipp” Whipple has been a milieu therapist in the Adolescent Program at the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research since 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She brings valuable experience from working with eating disorder patients across residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care.
