Marley Dougan is a Marital and Family Therapist Trainee in the Adolescent Program at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research. She joined UC San Diego in 2026, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Marley earned her B.A. in Psychology and Child Studies from Santa Clara University in 2025. During her time at Santa Clara University, Marley worked with justice-involved youth at Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY), where she helped facilitate law related curriculum and developed a passion for supporting teenagers in group settings. She also worked as a teacher’s assistant in a preschool classroom, where she participated in research exploring anti-bias representation in children's literature. These experiences strengthened her interest in working with children, adolescents, and families and deepened her commitment to fostering supportive environments where young people can grow and thrive. In her free time, Marley enjoys going on walks outdoors, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family and friends.
